She is a teacher and book writer. She has published over eighty titles and won numerous awards including the Gigante delle Langhe (2010), the Arpino Prize (2011, 2012), the Andersen Prize (2014), the Cento Prize (2017). Among her publications: Una sottile linea rosa (Giunti, 2014), That snake of my sister and The boys of Villa Emma  (Mondadori).
