Writer, archaeologist, scholar of History and Memory, he has published around twenty books with major Italian publishing houses. In miscellaneous publications, he has authored over three hundred scientific or popular articles and essays, and his texts have been translated into several languages. Since 2001, he has been teaching at the University of Bari and is a lecturer for post university courses at the Istud Business School in Milan.
