Born in Bologna, she was a translator and has been involved in communications for years. Her major bookish interest is literature written by women. She met Jane Austen for the first time at twenty years old reading the pages of "Pride and Prejudice" and she never left her. In 2010 she decided to pour her passionate Austenian ruminations into the literary blog Tea with Jane Austen and in 2013 she, together with four other Janeites, founded the Jane Austen Society of Italy (JASIT), of which she is president.
